Dragoon is acquired after the earth crystal is shattered.
In the Fiesta
Dragoon is a class defined by its one gimmick: !Jump. Dragoon's access to heavy armor is to calibrate how long it needs to stay in orbit to avoid attacks from enemies before slamming down for double damage (as long as a spear is equipped). When not airborne Dragoon is an incredible tank class with heavy armor and shield access. Dragoon doesn't bring anything synergistic to the table and doesn't really need anything else from other classes. Additionally, why doesn't Two-Handed work with Spears?
Notable Synergies
- If you have a Thief ensure that you steal a Javelin from Sand Bears in the Desert of Shifting Sands. It's acquired an entire World early and immensely improves Dragoon. Artful Dodger can also be useful to control Dragoon's speed.
- Equip Harp from Bard and Equip Bow from Ranger increase Dragoon's agility.
- Dual-Wield from Ninja allows a Dragoon to equip two spears, effectively doubling damage.
- The Maneater is classified as a spear and its damage is double by !Jump, but you can only equip it with Equip Ribbon from Dancer
- The Staff of Judgment is also !Jump ok for some reason, but you will need Equip Rods from Time Mage to jump with it.
