Strategies
Heads you win, tails you lose. The outcome of this fight is completely irrelevant, outside of you getting the item drop or pulling off a successful steal. But hey, beating up monsters is fun, so...
This is a very simple fight, only made challenging by you just having one character available. The Abductor will attack Bartz with melee strikes and occasional HP-cutting Hurricanes. Blinding him, putting up Protect or Image, or inflicting Old will all slow his offense down considerably. All you have to do then is periodically heal to stay ahead of his damage, and then bring him down. Of course, if said healing requires dipping into your item supply, it's not worth fighting back. Just let the Abductor do his abducting and move on to the next part of your run.
