Acquisition

Summoner is acquired after the Water Crystal is shattered.

In the Fiesta

Summoner is an incredible DPS class, laying down immense AoE damage boosted by rods, Gaia Gear, or the Air Knife while backed up by potent utility spells. Having Golem and Carbuncle in the back pocket is an incredible defensive option, while being able to fish for instant kills against vulnerable enemies with Catoblepas. The only downside to Summoner's spell list is the need to gather summons by defeating optional bosses as the game progresses. If the player is not careful as they proceed through the game, you will be locked out of some of the list of summons (Shiva, Carbuncle, Catoblepas). !Summon passes its full magic power at level 5 (not even maximized, skipping !Call) which is readily attainable in the midgame making it an incredible option for passing.
