Summary

The usually kind and gentle Garula species features one extremely angry individual who storms the Walse Tower in a rampage and confronting the party in anger. Garula is a vengeful beast, reacting with counterattacks once the party has depleted a third of its health. Teams might need to back off to focus on healing to keep up with Garula's counterattacks, but with enough persistence the party can harvest Garula's ivory and acquire their second job.

Strategies

Thieves have the roughest fight of any of the classes, as it has no choice but to chug potions to counterattack Garula's action economy. Thief usually dedicates 3 party members to potions and a fourth to dealing damage, and even then might need to back off. White Mages have a similarly rough fight, where only the character carrying the flail will deal significant damage while the others cast Protect and Cure. Knights can equip Iron Armor to dull Garula's attacks and since all of Garula's attacks deal physical damage Knights can use a combination of Cover and !Guard to take no damage in this fight. Black and Blue Mages can crack the Ice Rod from Carwen (if they didn't do it in the Magissa & Forza fight) or Fire Rods (if they dropped from wizards in Walse Tower) to blow through this fight, and on top of that Blue Mages can use Frog Song to essentially stop Garula from hurting them with counterattacks before Garula turns back to normal. This fight is mostly dictated by the player's aggression, and as long they're willing to back off to heal this fight will be easy.
